"Let the healing begin"

Dr. Tamaru N. Phillips, LMFT - Founder, Sunflower Institute FOR THERAPY & LIFE COACHING

1. What is a Single Session Appointment?
A Single Session Appointment is a 90-minute, one-time consultation designed for individuals who want direct insight, practical solutions, and a new perspective on a specific issue. It's not therapy—it's professional, strategic, and action-oriented support for those moments when you feel stuck and need help figuring out your next steps.

2. How is this different from regular therapy?
This is not a therapy session and does not treat mental health conditions like anxiety, depression, or trauma. This is strategic, action-oriented support designed to help you gain clarity and move forward in your healing journey. It's a focused consultation rather than ongoing therapeutic treatment.

3. What will I receive during my 90-minute session?
You will receive: a private session via phone or video (your choice), real and honest feedback with no fluff and no judgment, a clean actionable plan tailored to your situation so you can move forward with confidence, and a safe space to explore what's keeping you stuck.

4. Is this right for me?
This service is ideal if you're ready to begin healing but don't know where to start, you're not looking for ongoing therapy but need a powerful breakthrough session, you want clarity, direction, and accountability fast, and you're committed to showing up for yourself.

5. What should I expect before and during the session?
Before your session, you'll complete a detailed pre-session questionnaire to help Dr. Phillips understand your current situation. Once submitted, she'll review it thoroughly and follow up with next steps. The session creates space for clarity, growth, and the next chapter of your healing journey.

6. How do I schedule a Single Session Appointment?
You can call or text (954) 665-4855 to schedule, or fill out our quick intake form. All sessions are 100% confidential, and your information will never be shared or released to any third party.

7. Can I do the session virtually?
Yes, sessions are available both via phone or video call, based on your preference and comfort level.
